10.1 Deleting Your Account Through the App

  1. Open the Smart Notes AI app
  2. Navigate to your Profile menu
  3. Locate the "Delete Account" option in Session section
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your identity
  5. Confirm that you understand the deletion is permanent
  6. Complete the deletion process

10.2 Deleting Your Account by Contacting Support

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact us at aisoft.assist@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your account email address
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

We will process your deletion request within 7 days of receiving it.

10.3 What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account, the following will occur:

  • All your notes, folders, and uploaded content will be permanently deleted
  • Your account information and profile data will be removed
  • Your subscription will be cancelled (though you may need to cancel through the app store separately to avoid future charges)
  • You will no longer be able to access the Service with that account

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported or saved any content you wish to keep before proceeding with account deletion.

10.4 Data Deletion Timeline

After you initiate account deletion, your data will be removed from our active systems immediately. However, some data may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently deleted. This retention period is necessary for data recovery purposes and system maintenance.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
